This is a Home, not a brothel, nor a Dungeons and Dragons battleground.  Act with respect as you would in entering another person's home and you will be welcome.  Please feel free to visit and discovery the beauty of Gor.

Turian Protocols:

  1. Gor is a man’s world.  Free women defer to men, slaves defer to free.
  2. Slave abuse is not tolerated.  When you are a guest in a man’s home, you do not set your boots upon his dining table.  So too should you respect the slaves of and within Turia, as they are under the protection of this home and ill treatment of them is disrespect towards your host.  Type !GoreanMorality for more information.
  3. Silk Designations – White, Yellow, and Red are the only silk designations recognized in Turia.  All Turian girls wear the Turian camisk of silk and rope as depicted HERE. It is understood that the definitions below do not coincide with the books.  Let’s face it, yet-to-be-fucked and already-been-fucked aren’t the most useful designations anyway.
  • White Silk – Those designated as White Silks are fresh arrivals to Gor and as such know very little.  They are expected to spend their time learning about Gor and Gorean culture.  
  • Yellow Silk – Those designated as Yellow Silks have been around Gor for a while.  They demonstrate a clear understanding of Gorean language and culture, and the general expectations of a slave.  Slaves of Yellow Silk designation wear the Turian Crest arm band.
  • Red Silks – Those designated as Red Silks are the most experienced girls in the home, having an intimate knowledge of Gor, a solid understanding of Gorean philosophy, as well as a well developed personal style.  Slaves of Red Silk designation wear golden chains in place of their ropes.

       4. Turia is a home, not a brothel.  If you wish to fuck, take it to an alcove.

 Slave Protocols:

  1. A Slave’s Mindset – While the free may not always be right, they are, by definition, never wrong.  You will speak and act with respect at all times.  Make note of the following:
  • Owner’s Rules: Your owner’s word supersedes all rules and commands.  If an order goes directly against your owner’s, respectfully relay this to the free person who has commanded you.  
  • Punishment: You are subject to punishment at any time by any free for your behavior.  Be aware of this by your actions.  No punishment will extend beyond the restrictions of an owner.  Type !GoreanMorality for information.
  • Awareness: Always know your place in every word spoken and every action taken.  You are permitted into the presence of the free by their will and can be removed easily.
  • Clarity/Confusion: When you don’t understand, beg for clarity.  Uncertainty lays the groundwork for poor service.  The expectation is that you know, if you do not, beg to ask a question.
  • Names: Never change or shorten your given name.  However, you may add modifiers, such as -afk or -brb to the end of the name.
  • Presence: When you are marked as available, ensure that your attention is on the home.
  1. Entering – enter in the fashion that displays your personality and skills for the enjoyment of the free.  You only have one chance to make a first impression, use it wisely.
  2. Greeting – All free are greeted by Master or Mistress or other identifying names such as Jarl or Lady, etc.
  1. Greet each free man or woman by  name; grouped together (Greetings, Master Happy, Master Sneezy, Happy Doc) or in individual posts.
  2. Greet in the order of free men, free women, then slaves.  
  1. If you are uncertain of a free person’s gender, type !findrole <nick>.  If the free person has registered with the caethes, she will provide the free person’s preferred title. Performing a ‘whois’ may also reveal gender or title.
  2. If still unknown, greet as a free man.  If corrected, beg mercy for your error, greet as corrected and make note.  
  3. Greeting during a discussion – Upon entering and a discussion is in progress, condensed greetings are allowed.  Acknowledge the discussion and your wish not to disrupt, and then greet:  ‘Greetings, Masters.  Greetings, Mistresses.  Greetings, slaves.
  1. Kennels – All slaves will join #Turian_Kennels after entering.  Serenity is Mistress of Slaves in Turia.  Please seek her out for specific questions.  Type !help for further instructions.
  2. Service – You exist to serve the free.  If you are not serving, you will not exist here.
  1. By default, all slaves have a + denoting your availability for service.  
  1. When in service, type !down to be marked as unavailable.
  2. When service is completed, type !up to be made available.
  3. Sexual service is never enforced.
  4. When you are serving, your FULL attention is the expectation. No other conversations should be happening.
  1. Service comes in many forms:  food, drink, discussion, physical touch, companionship, dance, amusement, storytelling, silence, etc.  Do not limit yourself to merely the offering of food or drink.  Explore the depths of your creativity as there is much you have to offer in service.
  1. Speech and Private Messaging
  1. Third person speech is not a requirement to the slaves of Turia.  You may use it as you feel the need to do so.
  2. Questions are encouraged when asked properly.  
  3. If there is a discussion between the free, do not interject your thoughts.  Beg permission to speak.
  1. If a discussion becomes heated, stay silent.  
  2. If you have questions about something being said, save them until the tension ends, then beg to ask your question.
  1. If you wish to speak in PM, approach, kneel, and beg permission.  
  2. If PM’ed by someone to whom you are not in service, see above.  You are not required to respond to a PM if you have not been called in public to serve them.  
  1. Leave or AFK – beg permission to leave or go AFK.  Beg to return from AFK.
  1. When you are AFK, append “AFK” to your name.  You will automatically be marked as unavailable.
  2. When returning from AFK, remove the “AFK” from your name.  You will automatically be marked available.
  1. Turian Slaves Co-channeling – Slaves may co-channel with one other channel if the home is not busy.
  1. Do not enter the home and enter another channel at the same time.  Your first priority is to see to the home.  Then you may co-channel.  
  2. You are responsible for knowing if Turia becomes busy.  “I didn’t know.” Will not be an acceptable response.
  3. Other Homes – Unless otherwise told, you may visit in any other home.  Be advised: some view slaves as prey.  Where you venture may make their viewpoints reality.  
  4. The following homes are off limits to Turian slaves.  See Serenity with any questions.
